As leading providers of machined parts for the aerospace industry, Precision Masters and LamCam – owned by the same principal – needed a way to speak cohesively of their individual parts and services to and showcase capabilities. At the time, ownership was also on the cusp of a large acquisition.
With no previous focus on marketing, ownership reached out to Conectiv for help with a new brandmark and website that communicated the relationship between the three companies. Upon completing extensive research, it was revealed a new brand name was necessary: PMI Aerospace. The PMI Aerospace brand was developed to act as the marketing umbrella for all three companies as well as any future acquisitions.
Once the naming was secured, Conectiv created a website suitable for many purposes. In the Aerospace Industry, certifications are extremely important, as is the ability to showcase capabilities through parts and machinery for engineers. Measures were also taken to ensure the site was developed in a way that would encourage stakeholder interaction and act as a catalyst for new business and acquisitions.
With a large aerospace community on LinkedIn, Conectiv also established a robust company profile for PMI Aerospace to promote news, new parts, and more. Online initiatives were further supported through the creation of new building signage and traditional marketing pieces, bringing physical and digital together to fully develop the brand’s new identity.
